Having stayed in Days Inns at many locations I can confirm that Front Street in Harrisburg is the BEST! AND it is the people working at this property that make the difference.  ALSO,  over perhaps nine years and more than 100 room nights at this property, I can report that it is amazing and always excellent.  Darwyn, Joanna and John are GREAT.  The make me feel like family.  They are always pleasant and willing to make me feel at home.  You could not have a BETTER TEAM!  The breakfast accommodations and food are FANTASTIC.  6/25/07

Just wanted to send a note to compliment your staff for a wonderful stay.  My family arrived for a one night stay on our way home after a week at the beach.   The entire staff was so welcoming-- Barbara at the front desk even located a flat head screwdriver for me when I needed to make some repairs to my son's car seat.  Even the housekeeping staff and the lifeguard at the pool was friendly.  The kids LOVED the popcorn machine in the lobby.  Although we chose the motel simply as a stopover point, we have decided to return for another stay so we can take the kids to Hershey Park and the many surrounding attractions.  They have specifically asked if they can stay at your motel again because they enjoyed the experience so much.  The welcoming, family friendly atmosphere can't be beat.

The housekeeping staff is to be commended.  The room we stayed in was one of the cleanest and it smelled clean but not like bleach.  They were friendly if I met them outside of the room and seemed to enjoy their job.  They did not give the impression they were only there to do a job.  I have commented to my friends how clean our room was and how friendly the housekeeping staff.  They would be one of the reasons I would choose this Days Inn should I be back in the area.
